The Guoquan automatic edge banding machine is a high-speed industrial woodworking machine. It performs the full edge banding process automatically, from gluing and pressing to trimming and polishing, etc 9 steps. The machine is designed for mass production; it processes large volumes of panels with consistent, high-quality results, making it essential for large-scale furniture manufacturing.

1.Advanced glue spraying system: Compared to traditional systems, it ensures more uniform, thinner, and neater glue application. Our machine can be compatible with both hot melt and PUR glue. The quick-change glue system can reduce changeover time, which would save almost 35–40%, and improve production efficiency.

Nine-in-one integrated processing system, our machine integrates nine functions: pre-milling, spray glue, strip conveying and pressure bonding, the strip tape end cutting, rough trimming, fine trimming, trim round cornering, edge scraping, and polishing, all functions into one unit, enabling all edge banding processes to be completed in a single pass for fully automatic operation.
3. This machine features a heavy-duty steel frame and steel beam to ensure long-term operational stability, with a longer service life compared to aluminum pressure beams.
4. This machine uses a Haiwell touch-screen control panel, imported Korean LS PLC, and alpha variable-frequency drive, ensuring safe and stable operation. It supports smartphone remote control, multi-speed adjustment, and real-time production monitoring. The electrically lifting pressure beam and six-wheel pressing system ensure stable panel feeding and uniform edge banding.

The edge banding machine operates through a smooth and automated process (also called “straight-through feeding” system). The panels are clamped by machine and moved past various aggregate units, each performing a specialized task. The Guoquan automatic edge banding machine has nine aggregate units. Below is the machine working process introduction.
This machine uses two high-frequency diamond cutters to refine the panel edges, achieving a perfect 90° cut and eliminating sawing defects. The machine can only remove a thickness of 0.2–0.3 mm and maximum of 0.5 mm.
Other cheaper machines use pressure glue, but we use spray glue. It’s more uniform, thinner, and offers better adhesion. The glue widely use PUR and EVA.
It feeds the edge banding tape from the coil,uses a large main roller along with multiple support rollers to press it firmly onto the glue.
Two high-speed motors cut the excess strip tape at both ends of the panel.
Trims most of the tape overhang from the top and bottom of the door panel.
Trim the top and bottom edges of the door panel into a curved shape.
Position the four corners using laser and trim the round corners.
Removes knife marks left by the trimming and scrapes off excess glue.
A soft cloth wheel cleans and polishes the finished edges to restore their color and luster.
